DIY Teepee!!
Who doesn’t like a teepee?? It’s a comfortable private little fort that you can set up in your home or outside. Today I’m going to show you how to make your own simple little teepee whether it’s for your kids or just for yourself ;)
I made this simple little teepee for a styled shoot a couple weeks ago! All you need is:
* About 6 meters of fabric of your choice :) If you are putting the teepee outside then I would use a waterproof canvas!
* 3 or 4 long sticks around the same length
* tie wire
* blankets & pillows
First cut a long piece of your tie wire and start to weave it around the top of the sticks, leaving some room at the top for them to be able to spread out ;)
I only used 3 sticks to make mine but I suggest you make yours with 4 sticks so there is more room inside.
Now spread the sticks apart…you now have the skeleton of your teepee ;)
Cut 3-4 panels of your fabric and tie each of them at the top of the tee pee and then cut the excess at the bottom but not too short…you want it to drape loosely on the ground ;)
Now add blankets and pillows inside your teepee! All you need is some candles, a glass of wine (or chocolate) and a book ;) Snuggle in!
