DIY WOOD VASE!!

When you are planning decor for your wedding or any other event the floral I find is very important and you can display it in many different ways! Why does floral always have to be in a glass vase???? What about using wood that you can find in the forest for free?? My friend Corinne from Filosophi Events and I searched the forest for the perfect sticks for an upcoming wedding to use for the table setting. The bride is on a very tight budget so we decided to make the sticks we found into vases! Below I’ll share how to make your own but please don’t judge the floral…ahahha…I was just practicing for the wedding coming up!!

What you need…..

* small floral water tubes

* sticks

* flowers

* Drill

* auger bit slightly larger than the diameter of the water tube

This project is pretty straight forward….just simply drill as many holes as you would like in the piece of wood and then add the floral tube filled with water into the hole….then throw in your flowers :)

These wood pieces will be used for a wedding on August 11th and I’ve picked out lots of pretty flowers for it….such as…large white garden roses, dusty miller, succulents, eucalyptus and much much more!! Super excited to see the finished product at the wedding:)

Hope you enjoyed this!!! See what you can find in the forest for a beautiful floral display!
