Not so nice kitchen….
So my new big project right now is beautifying the kitchen…it simply just won’t do as it is right now. I’m going for a more natural look now and I’m going to fill this kitchen up with creams and neutral colors!
FIrst of all……THE FLOORS…ewww..hahah! That was the first thing I notice when I saw the place and the first thing I asked to paint! I’ve decided not to though because area rugs will do just fine and it’s a easy fix to cover floors you don’t like!
I started unpacking all my red items I had in my last kitchen and I felt like it just didn’t work with this kitchen. Sometimes when you move all the things you used to have in your other space into your new one it won’t work but you have to work with what you’ve got! I don’t like to spend a lot of money so I tend to spray paint a lot of the things I already have to change its color so I don’t have to buy new ones ;)
I have already used cream spray paint to spray all the red in my kitchen..and it looks great! Don’t worry…I didn’t touch the Le Creuset tea pot or the vintage chest…hahah!
Another thing I have to change is…the cupboard handles….I’m on the hunt right now for some vintage ones and I want them to be mismatched! I might even paint the cupboards …not too sure on what color yet?? Suggestions?
Please ignore my greasy fingers on the toaster but I wanted to show you the countertop…looks ugly right??? It won’t though with all the creams I have going on in the kitchen right now!
I will be posting the new kitchen photos next week! We are making Sunday a working on the house day!
